There are no paid employees.

The CDA is a French-registered not-for-profit Association, governed by the law of 1st Jul 1901. Article 1 of this law succinctly describes such an Association as follows:
Association is the convention by which two or more people permanently pool their knowledge or their activity for a purpose other than sharing profits. Its validity is governed by the general principles of law applicable to contracts and obligations.
